|Losing a wrestler who was probably the best in the program’s existence, would probably leave any coach a little down.
Austin Hood, who became the school’s first three-time state champion, is now continuing his career at Oklahoma State University. His absence is a big hole for anyone to try and fill.
But second-year coach Bobby Bovaird is excited about what his Louisburg program has a chance to become this season. With better numbers, and so far, a healthier group of wrestlers, he sees a lot more depth from his program.
